Manauara Apartment
A tropical pause, with precise and affectionate light
In the heart of Manaus, the Manauara Apartment invites contemplation of the natural light of the Amazon — but it is in WeLight's technical lighting that the space finds its refined atmosphere and its controlled visual rhythm.
The lighting scheme respects the warmth and expressiveness of the furniture, the textures and the art, bringing out the natural palette gently.
Here light works as an emotional and architectural filter — stitching volumes, activating artwork and letting the space breathe with elegance.
Lighting concept
- Indirect linear lighting in coves and architectural details favours visual comfort and creates restful scenes in areas such as the living room, dining room and hall.
- Recessed fixtures with precise beams highlight the planting, the artwork and the light timber surfaces.
- Supporting light recessed under furniture and counters, creating visual layers and helping daily tasks flow.
Project highlights
- The integration of living room, dining room and balcony was strengthened with diffuse lighting and intensity control, allowing soft transitions from day to night.
- The powder room reveals an intimate, sculptural setting, with directed warm light that brings out the texture of the materials and the design of the joinery.
- Art and planting are emphasised by asymmetric accents and high-CRI light, rendering colours faithfully even under artificial light.
Technical resources
- Colour temperature: 2700K
- CRI: >90
- Low UGR for prolonged visual comfort
- Automated scene control (0-10V or DALI)
- Recessed, linear and setback fixtures, invisible to the eye but decisive in perception
In short
The Manauara Apartment balances Amazonian warmth with lighting precision.
WeLight draws a narrative where light does not impose itself — it accompanies, welcomes and turns daily life into a sensitive experience.
