Set in the heart of Milan — the world capital of design — the Ornare showroom offers an experience that goes beyond retail and comes closer to art curation. WeLight signed the lighting design with an approach that respects the spirit of the brand and brings out the quality of its making through light: silent, strategic and deeply integrated.

Lighting concept

In this Milanese space, lighting is more than functional — it is narrative. Every lit scene translates an intention: to lead the eye, highlight fine materials and preserve the visual silence the furniture needs in order to speak for itself.

Recessed linear profiles and light integrated into the joinery create lines of continuity between vertical and horizontal planes.
Track spots with narrow beams offer flexibility and directional control without giving up on aesthetics.
Perimeter lighting reinforces the warmth of the space, even with the neutral tones and the clean geometry.

Strategies and details

Colour temperature between 2700K and 3000K, adapted to bring out each finish: woods, leather, fabrics and metals.
CRI >90 throughout the installation, essential for colour fidelity in the display areas.
Scene control for events, technical visits and specific settings.

Special feature: staircase and vertical circulation

Lighting on the steps creates a subtle choreography of light and shadow, giving the circulation a theatrical atmosphere.
Deep blue walls are revealed by controlled beams that accentuate depth and create a refined visual tension.
