Tempo by Porsche
One hall in many scenes, with a 911 in the middle of it
Tempo by Porsche is a restaurant, a lounge and a brand showcase at the same address, with a 911 parked on the central axis of the hall. The lighting had to serve dinner, the display of the car and the events the brand holds in the space.
The answer was to work the hall in scenes. The same room changes colour and level as a whole, from the sign to the metallic ceiling, and the car crosses that change always as the brightest point in the room.
Hall and pergola
- Programmable colour system in the ceiling and the pergola, with the whole hall taking on the same scene — the photographs show the same view in red, blue, green and violet.
- Accent light over the car, calibrated so it stays legible in any scene.
- Low-level, warm table light, independent from the colour system, so the food and the faces of the diners stay right.
- LED strip recessed into the bar counter, following its curve and keeping the bottle display visible.
Terrace and circulation
- On the terrace, low warm light under the covered deck, with the city view preserved.
- The vertical stone garden receives grazing light, which reveals the texture without brightening the room.
- The media screens are part of the design brief: the level of the hall was set to live alongside them.
