Jardins Apartment

Light that defines, translates and dissolves excess

The Jardins Apartment presents an architecture of pared-down lines, where every material choice reveals an intention of lightness and permanence. WeLight signed the lighting design with an integrative approach that seeks not only to light — but to compose atmospheres of breathing space and precision, with no visual noise.

Light does not take the lead here: it permeates the space softly, drawing the architecture with subtlety and reinforcing the sense of flow and welcome.

Lighting concept

Lighting works as a silent language, organising the rooms through subtle layers and well-calibrated contrasts.

  • Recessed linear profiles run along the ceilings with geometric rigour, creating a continuous visual axis.
  • Warm light (~2700K) brings out the texture of the natural materials — wood, fabrics and neutral surfaces — for sensory comfort.
  • Recessed beams and setback spots work as instruments of precision, lighting artwork, objects and circulation under full control.
  • Automation allows scenes that follow different uses and times of day, adjusting intensity and colour temperature.

Rooms in focus

Living and dining

The recessed ceiling structure receives continuous linear light, softly concealed, creating a precise architectural reading.

Light-toned timber panels gain depth from grazing light running gently down the vertical surfaces.

The whole conveys contemplation and balance, with no glare.

Kitchen

A technical, clean room, with well-placed recessed fixtures lighting counters and preparation areas with functional, discreet light.

The timber ceiling reinforces the welcoming character, while the clear light keeps productivity without visual aggression.

Private areas / circulation

Recessed perimeter light defines the routes and frames the space with quiet elegance.

The transition between rooms is marked by slots of light that suggest visual pauses and lead the eye fluidly.

Technical resources

  • Colour temperature: 2700K (private and living areas) to 3000K (work areas)
  • Colour Rendering Index (CRI): >90, guaranteeing fidelity in the tones of materials and artwork
  • Recessed linear fixtures, opaque diffusers and adjustable asymmetric beams
  • UGR <10 in living and private areas — complete visual comfort
  • Automation system compatible with 0-10V / DALI for dynamic scene control

In short

The Jardins Apartment shows how light, when properly dimensioned, dissolves into the space and changes the experience of living in it.

WeLight delivers lighting that translates the architecture into visual silence — it draws, welcomes and reveals, respecting the essence of each room and the pace of those who live there.
